updates

Ok time to blog

Been having exams. Just has the two easiest, Econ 322 and 329, Game theory and Industrial Organisation.

Not a problem, both were rather simpler then expected. I am going to pass that is the issue, so not worried about the scores, besides I cannot take home the results.

So anyway been studying. Now resting, ha ha watched a few movies last night, The Terminal by Tom Hanks and The Transporter.

Let me tell you that the Terminal is so so so so so so so so so so good. You have to watch it, if you have not watched. It is excellent. So moving, so funny, light hearted yet so filled with life. Really a great movie to watch. It is loosely based on a true story, about a guy who is trapped in the international lounge of an airport because of some technical legalities, that is his passport is not recognized because his country is no longer in existence.

Anyway, it shows how incredible the guy is, learning to read English, learning to make a living in the airport. And most of all, learning to chase a girl. Yup yup, Tom hanks is a fantastic actor.

The other show, the transporter, is an excellent, action packed movie, with about as much plot as the empty bottle beside me. No plot. Only excellent actions. And a lovely BMW 735i that graces the film. Though it does get blown up. And some great driving. Did I mention there was a BMW 735?

Today went to watch fire works. Really good actually, but the transport was a let down. The buses were too little too slow. And really, I think planning of the event kinda got limited to where it would be and how it would be carried out. There was no crowd control, no transport assistance, no additional buses. Seems almost any major event in any part of the world suffers from that lack of hindsight.

So anyway , yeah the fire works were in celebration of the guy called Guy Fawks, who tried to blow up the parliament building of either Britain or NZ, not sure which. So anyway they just have fireworks on the day he was caught, which was just before he lit up his fire works. I think. Not too sure of the exact history.

So, three more papers, Economic Analysis of Law, Monetary Economics and the dreaded Econometrics 2. sigh.. Onward we march, to the HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
